St.
Jude Academy of Dasmariñas is celebrating its 7th Foundation
Day on October 26, 27 and 28 at the sschool quadrangle. The faculty
and support staff are leaving no stone unturned for this 3-dayevent:
Family Day for day 1, Sports Festival for Day 2 and Cultural Activities
(Karakol and Dulawit) for Day 3, wrapped up with the awarding ceremony
on the last day.
Different
parlor games are prepared for the family on the first day. On the second
day of the Foundation Day celebration, several activities were scheduled
for students, teachers and parents.
The
Third day started with a mass, followed by the presentation of the Dulawit
and Karakol (street dancing), starting from the City Homes Subdivision
ending up in our school. The 3-day affair's fitting close is the awarding
of prizes and trophies to the winners.
Highlighting
the day's activities are the sport fest, the field demonstration and
the cheering competition. The field demonstration was participated in
by all levels, divided into four groups: Nursery Rhymes for the Kinder
and Preparatory, Garden Fantasy for grades 1 to 3, Broadway Sparklers
for grades 4 to 6 and Glow, UN! for the high school.
Cheerinf
and sports fest are participated in by the team contenders: Green Dragon
and Meteor Blue in the Elementary division and Yellow Tigers and Red
Falcons for the secondary division. Each teach would give their best
to outplay their opponents. They had been practicing for almost a month
because no team would like to lose. All of them aim to go for GOLD.
